COMPETITION RULES

Teams Need to Bring:

  • Teams will bring their own grills and smokers.  No more than two grills or smokers per team.

  • NO PROPANE OR ELECTRIC GRILLS/SMOKERS PERMITTED.  

  • 12' x 12' canopy tent or smaller, cooking utensils, towels, gloves, foil, paper towels, knives, spoons, forks, their barbecue prowess, secret sauces, spicy blends, family secrets and grilling attitude

  • Teams will be judged by a panel of barbecue judges in each of four categories; ribs, chicken, sliders and the open category.  A "Taster's Choice" overall award will go to the team with the best attitude and food as judged by tasters.

Each team will be provided with the following:

  • Foil Serving Tins and Sterno

  • Six or more slabs of pork ribs

  • Six or more whole chickens (Pre-cut)

  • Ten Pounds of Vander Farms Wagyu Ground Beef and Slider buns
